The Washington County School District has been made aware of a social media post stating there was a threat to school tomorrow (Dec 7, 2022).  The circulation of this information was at Roulhac Middle and Chipley High Schools.  Please know this threat has been investigated by both the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the School District and persons associated with this incident have been identified and appropriate law enforcement action has been taken.  There is no credible threat to school, students or staff.  Please reiterate to your child that posting and reposting threats on social media platforms could lead to criminal actions.  We want to thank those students who came forward to the administration and teachers to report this incident.  “If You See Something, Say Something!”
